22nd - Meet & Greet Please feel free to stop by O'Roarke Elementary School in order to meet me and my long term substitute, Susan Thomas.
25th - First Day of School Please meet me at the sun and line up on number 56 (our classroom number).

1st - No School Labor Day
8th - 10th - DIBELS Testing We will be conducting the first benchmark for DIBELS. This test is administered individually and is used to continuously monitor pre-reading and early reading skills.
8th - 19th - Book Fair Our first book fair will be held in the Library all week! Please remember to stop by and purchase some great books to read at home. On the 18th the book fair will be open in the evening from 4 - 8 p.m.
9th - Grandparent's Day In honor of Grandparent's Day we will be having an ice cream social from 2:30 - 3:30 p.m.

30th - Costume Day Students will be able to wear their Halloween costumes to school. Please, no fake or real weapons and no masks. We will be having a costume parade at 2:15 p.m.
